Breast Center at Aurora BayCare Medical Center

Aurora's Breast Center within the Women's Center at Aurora BayCare Medical Center provides a full range of services including specialized patient clinics based on degree of health risk.

Colette Salm-Schmid, MD, is the only female fellowship-trained breast surgeon north of Milwaukee. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. The team also consists of an additional gynecologic surgeon, an experienced nurse practitioner, breast health coordinator and other skilled professionals.

When cancer treatment is necessary, surgery, radiation and chemotherapy are all available on the same campus. The Vince Lombardi Cancer clinic is a recognized center for excellence in cancer treatment. Patient clinical trials are offered at the clinic.
